I rode to work at 5am the other day in the snow on my singlespeed and even took a detour to add a few miles.

Rode back down the A46 from jcn 15 of the M40 to Stratford in the snow a few days later at -2.

Once you get used to it there's nothing quite like it...all alone in the cold against the elements.  Love it.

I think we need to organise an EM Bike Ride to toughen you girls up a bit.

And only if we can have a "Who can drink the most cider and still ride?" competition.  One pint of cider and a double at each pub, until it's last person (politically correct am I?) standing, or on their bottom.

Anyway, have to take iron horsey to the bike vet now for a new freewheel as it has gone lame!

You 2 are bonkers   My hubby has his 1st bike race of the year on Sunday!!  I'm afraid I stick to the turbo trainer this time of the year;)

I would love a bike ride round the pubs, as long as I can drink lager!!! I used to drink cider, but when hubby owned a pub and the barrel went empty rather quickly and he hadn't sold much then he decided I might do better to drink lager   I reckon my problem would be having to stop to wee to often!!!!

Maybe if they are doing triathlon...I think men i bib shorts (padded shorts with lycra braces) pull the front down and pee out to the side as they go...I won't even begin to describe how the girlies do it.
